The silence was broken by debate and protests around here. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/eastsidenews/2004374870_dayofsilence26e.html I'm not sure which pisses me off more ... the "Concerned Women for America" and other hateful protesters, or the news article that made a point of saying that of 495 students who skipped school, 85 of them were athletes. OK, obviously the protesters suck more, but I think pointing out athletes as homophobes is divisive and trouble-making. There were 410 other students home that day, too.
